Engine squeal?

    I have this EXACT same squeal as the video. Did you ever get it figured out? Yeah, I know this is an old thread.

    Thread revival, but while searching for info on a specific noise I came across this thread.

    That chirp in the video, most noticable while looking under the truck was throw out bearing for me.

    I got this and a new clutch at the time (two years ago) and the chirp is gone.

    Sorry guys, didn't monitor this forum. Yeah, it was a throw-out bearing. Hopefully you've found solutions. Turns out its a notorious problem for the 6 speed trans. Had it warrantied by the dealer, and it went again 10,000 km later. They said they would warranty the part, but not the labour ($200 part, $1500 in labour). My regular mechanic said just to ride out the noise until the clutch goes and then change the whole thing.

    Got same issues, and now again AFTER installing URD sleeve kit and new clutch as a preventive measure that lasted 15k. Got the same advice from my mechanic so doing the same for the moment. Hopefully I won't regret it...:notsure:
