I’m not following you. Can you explain the issue in a more descriptive way?

Sounds like an automatic transmission calculating and shifting to the calculated gear and then the vehicle takes off. Had a new RX330 that did this--it was ridiculous enough to get rid of it after about a year.

what have you diagnosed, or is there any add-on's on the truck like a pedal commander, or botched wiring by the MAF under the hood?

have you tried to do a battery disconnect/reset yet?

Is this while you are on flat and level ground with good traction, accelerating normally? I had a similar experience when in 4 High and gunning the engine to go up a snow covered hill and the truck was throttling back the engine to regain traction. Tne end result was sort of like a "jack rabbit" up and down RPM on the engine and the whole truck would kind of jump each time. Probably not the scenario you have but it's what came to mind.

It’s normal. Due to throttle by wire . There’s a delay gas pedal and acceleration. The FIX? Go easy on the gas , don’t stomp on it or get a tune . Even with a tune won’t totally fix it, it just minimizes it.
