I have a 3rd gen Tacoma, TRD sport, access cab, 3.5l, 6 speed manual, mileage 7000. I am having issue under acceleration engine has a stumble between 2500 and 3000 rpms, accelerator pedal about half throttle, been doing it since new. Any others out there have this issue? I have not yet taken it back to dealer.

I have had this happen on two or three occasions. Is your heater or air conditioning on?

The compressor on the system comes on and off more than a dime store whores panties. This can cause a missing feeling.

Rest assured though, this is just a normal function of the truck. All is well. Toyota says so.

Honestly, I don't know. It can be annoying. Not a deal breaker for me but just a small nuisance.

In the summer time the compressor comes on and off about every sixty to ninety seconds. It's annoying. Dealer says, "normal". When you are sitting at s top light, it feels like it is idling rough every time it clicks on or off.
