I had the same problem. Cleaned maf sensor and then got a check engine light replaced air/fuel ratio sensor (o2) and mine has not done that since.

My 16 Limited seems to sound like it is "missing" at idle. I think I usually have air on when it does this. I have to take truck in for recall...some sensor that might cause truck to stall. Anyway, I only have 21,000 on the truck. Should I get Toyota to investigate when it is in for the recall, or not take the chance of them ripping me off for nothing?
