I have a 2007 single cab Toyota Tacoma with the in-line four engine. I’m rebuilding the engine right now. But was wondering how easy would it be to put the V6 engine and tranny that came in the tacos into my truck. I know I would have to change out motor mounts and maybe the tranny bracket along with ECM but how identical is the wiring?

I’m of the opinions that it is not worth it.
If you are set on doing an engine swap, go big. LS it.

I wondered what @Jimmyh thinks about it? :fistbump:

Sounds like a good way to end up with a less reliable vehicle
