Everything from a donor v6 truck.
Entire wiring harness, from the front blinkers to the fuse block, everything.
Tach is also different, swap the dash.
Cut off 4 cyl motor mounts, weld in new v6 mounts (or cut off re-weld mounts from donor truck).
Cost can be from 500 to 5000, dependent on how much said donor truck cost.
Unless you get a screaming deal on a donor v6 truck, I'd stick with the 2.7.
    Been there.

If your doing it for a project something to do go for it .

Like any other engine swap if your on a tight budget you might want to rethink this .

Buy a complete running donor vehicle and get it to where you are working

Most often a bunch of little things we all forget if it is close at hand great other wise many trips going for forgotten parts

I don`t know why you would want to swap the wiring harness .

You just need to wire in the 4th ECM plug to the vehicle you have .

    EWD makes it easier.

Really much easier to sell this one and buy the truck you want.

I did the 3.4 swap in my 99 tacoma. Everyone is correct. A donor truck is the way to go. My donor was a 4runner. I replaced the complete wiring harness, and went with the auto tranny and interior, seats, dash etc. A lot of modifying motor mounts, shifter etc. Don't forget the instrument cluster needs replaced, the tach is specific to the number of cylinders. Well worth the extra work. But could nickel and dime you to death without a donor.
