    The newer the car, the harder the swap. 1st Gens are relatively simple thanks to their primitive body and drivetrain electrical as compared to a 2nd or 3rd Gen.

    The real crux of modern engine swaps is wiring. Welding new engine perches, chopping off parts, and actually fitting the drivetrain is the easy part. Plumbing it all to work is the hard part.
