    For real, a 318 with 560 hp?
a 340 with 360 hi-swirl heads doesn't even come close to that. How bout throwin up some pics and specs of your built 318.

Pretty sure a dressed 350 long block outweighs a 318 by some 60 lbs or so as well.

Actually, They weigh about the same. Fully dressed, the 318 is close to 600#'s, while a 350 fully dressed is about 580#.

$5000 sounds about right. Hell flux capacitor only is $3000 plus blinker fluid reservoir is $1000, so $5000 sounds about right.

And who the fuck build s a v8 with SIXTY year old technology?

cold air intake, throttle body spacer, front and rear tube bumpers, 3 inch susp. lift,
yea. all the things i have done to the engine include. i bored it 40 over, stroker kit, mild cam, high volume/pressure dry sump oil pump and all the parts for it, 8 qt mildon oil pan, after market alum. 340 heads, holly avenger carb, holly high volume fuel pump, roller rocker arms, rods, new timing gears and chain, shit you name it and i have done it. i would have to look up everything i have done to it. im using old tech because its more fun and more of a challenge to make an old engine with old tech push out more power than a new enging with new tech. its something for me to do. if i wasnt at work i would pull the recipts and add everything up, i will get some pics soon
