I’d like to hear from all you experienced DIYers here about my maintenance plan. I have a new 2021 Pro and will be changing all my oils at 1,000 miles for the break-in period [eng, Tran, transfer, diffs].

I also plan change intervals to be sooner than recommended. As an example, my plan is to change tranny fluid at 1k, 20k, 50k, 80k, etc and to offline filter the fluid every 5k miles using a bypass filter of 2 microns with a bench and pump setup.

I will likely do this for the engine oil with a second bench top bypass setup. Using Amsoil signature series and filter so I will drain the fluid every 5k miles through an easy Fumoto valve to pass it through its own 2 micron before reintroducing it back into the block.

The extra cost isn’t unreasonable and the effort won’t be bad either. I’ve always been one who takes their oil regimen fairly seriously but I think I’m ready to step up my game just a little bit more. Interested to hear from others who might have their own OCD oil regimens.

Wow, and I thought I was particular...

Me thinks you're over thinking it a bit.

I use Amsoil as well and change every 10k.

I use 20w40 and 1 quart of Marvel Mystery Oil.

I use Redline MT90 with a little Lucas in the trans but I'm manual.

That's a lot of extra time and money for no appreciable benefit.

Wild overkill. Flushing money down the oil drain.

Change engine oil every 5k with quality oil. It's not a porsche that sits.

Transmission won't benefit from such frequent changes. I'd stick to every 30k

Sorry Buddy... but we've all been brought up being told frequent oil changes will prolong engine life... and it's bull. I've worked in three dealerships and seen mechanics there recommend 3K oil changes... and they take the oil they drain and put it in their own vehicles.
A 1K break in period won't be enough to break in a vehicle. The whole point of a break in period is to seat the piston rings and that requires some slight wear.
I've bought vehicles with engine knocks from never having the oil changed, changing it and putting tranny fluid in to flush the gunk, and eventually the engine quiets and runs great... selling the vehicles years later and running fine.
If it makes you feel good... do whatever you feel is right. But for my money I'll follow the recommends in the owner's manual.

Overkill. The 500,000 - 1,000,000 miles without a drivetrain componet overhaul owners don't do what you are planning to do. They give equal preventive maintenance attention to ALL engine systems; ignition, fuel, cooling, emission. And don't mod anything or use aftermarket parts like special tranny filters.

Here's a 2007 Tundra 2UZ-FE V8 owner who went 1,000,000 miles on 5W-30 conventional oil changed by a dealership every 10,000 miles using Toyota filters and the tranny lasted 730,000 (and only reverse gear went out) http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/project-trucks/1705-million-mile-tundra-the-tear-down/

1k is good for the first engine & rear end oil change, but the rest of the fluids would be fine if you just cut the Toyota recommended times/miles in half.

Imo, doing your first oil/filter change at 5k miles...transmission, front and rear differentials and transfer case at 30k miles is more than good.

Lol 2 micron. They don't even filter beer to 2 micron! Bacteria is 3-5 microns. If you filter to 2 micron you will be filtering out all of the oil additives, But apparently you are an amsoil disciple so really... who cares what you do? You do you buddy. Good luck on that 2 micron filtering and google is your friend...
