So I had my buddy checkout the truck. He found temperamental continuity coming from the throttle body. I bought used TB with warranty from my local junkyard. I also found that my battery was dying and not receiving enough voltage increase like usual. So that led me to pulling the alternator which I had tested by oreillys which failed. So bought another alt from my junkyard and now I’m seeing proper voltage increases telling me alterntor works great. I took the truck back out to sand hallow and rips the dunes. The truck passed my beating tests lol. No more limp mode! Thanks again for everyone’s help. I did post in another thread I made regarding some small wiring issues still but nothing major. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Google AI has this definition of temperamental continuity:

“Temperamental continuity is the idea that a person's temperament can persist from infancy through childhood and into adulthood. Research shows that a child's temperament can be a predictor of their psychological well-being and behavioral problems later in life”

How is that coming from your throttle body?

Unfortunately it’s back into limp mode. I replaced my throttle body and alternator before thanksgiving. After hitting some whoop lines it seemed to be just fine. But then the limp
Mode came back. It really only happens when I go through big g outs. But then again I ripped sand highway and those whoops were massive without any limp mode occurrences. I’ve gotten the code p2111 again. My truck would never do this before when I was on mid travel setup. And I jumped the piss out of it back then without any issues. I also remember ripping it in Barstow with long travel which are massive whoops with no limp mode occurrence. I’ve got a multimeter with me on the road.

It goes out of limp mode if I leave the battery disconnected for a good 3-5hrs. And doesn’t trip out for awhile.

I really think we are dealing with a wiring issue.
About the only way to find it, is to start tugging, pulling, and wiggling wires, to and from, the Throttle Body while monitoring the Voltage on Live Data of a scan tool.

The values below are what you want to watch while wiggling wires. You need to pull and push on the wiring and connectors while watching for changes on the values below.

Throttle Position Sensor No. 1 Voltage
Throttle Position Sensor No. 2 Voltage
    Throttle Position Command.

Yes I had my buddy do this exactly. He monitored the voltages on his scanner plugged into ob2 as he had someone mess around with the wiring between throttle body and ecu. He noticed the voltage was changing and dropping erratically which lead him to believe the throttle body was bad. Clearly the wiring is the issue like you pointed out @TnShooter

@TnShooter would you know anyone closer to Utah or vegas that could do a thorough electrical check over. The trucks been doing fine going fast through deep whoops. And then I keep up on some small g out and go slow through it or brake and it just limps out. Soo fuckin weird.

@TnShooter Cool just posted in thier. I found another thread that u were in for code p2103. I read the whole diagram on how to test throttle body harness from tb to ecu. Any chance you could FaceTime me if I shoot you my number? Just want to make sure I set my multimeter right and check the correct pins. 720-483-4252. I’m around tonight about to unplug harnesses. Do I do the tests with the key in the ignition?

I’ve got the glove box out and can see the ecu. Is thier a diagram to show which connectors on the ecu to test?

Can you send me the link to this entire procedural diagram that you keep sharing bits and pieces of.
