So, after reading the thread earlier of the fella who couldn't find his trailer light plug in, I feel compelled to ask some questions...

What in the dam world are these things that have rolling around in my truck since I got it? Do they clip on seatbelt to hold little airplane bottles of booze? Maybe it goes on lap belt and holds a flesh light? I'm seriously puzzled by these... 20191203_191627.jpg

How about a garage door opener you can program? Tundras have em, does my model just not? Is there a mod for this? An opener clipped onto my visor is sooo 1990...

How easy is it to remove the shifter knob on an auto? I do lots of wood turning and carving, I also have tons of beautiful burl wood and exotics I would like to replace the factory one with.

So what sage advise y'all got? Haven't been around here very long but from some threads I've read I'm sure I will be dazzled with some amazing responses! Have at it!

Not sure about the clips. I didn't receive those. Maybe it's an access cab thing.

Your model didn't come with the garage door opener (built into the rear view mirror). It's an easy plug and play addition. I think there is a vendor selling the mirrors in the marketplace.

The shift knob just unscrews. Take both hands and push down on the chrome shift boot bezel to detach it and then twist the knob to pull it off.

PS. I find it's best to store my fleshlight in the glove box or center console. Keep it out of sight of would-be thieves.

I should have said I have the double cab to clarify some.

I'll look for the mirror add on! Thanks!

I'll try the shifter tomorrow! A nice piece of wood will really add a little pop to the cabin!

I also saw the thread about a locking box for glove box. Might be handy for your advise! Good looking out! Dam thieves anyway...

This post should have everything you need to know about adding a mirror.

I added one, but then found out my garage door isn't compatible. At least not without tinkering with the actual garage door unit.
