    When I sworn in at MEPs, I did it in April and went to RTC (Basic) in September... But it all depends on what job you pick for your boot camp date. There could be an opening for a really good job but the date to leave for boot camp can range between A month to 6 months.. There isn't no guarantee that you will get X amount of months in the DEP program.

    I decided with our second kid on the way, I cant say I'd be okay with missing 6 months or so of his life, let alone from the family...It wouldnt be fair to Carm to have to figure out sitter arrangements, and leave her with the kids....So, maybe at some future time and date I may be ready, but not in the near future.

    I wanted security forces but i screwed by the color vision bs. So im in the DEP and still waiting on a job :(, which it doesn't matter being i still got three more months of high school.
