I do not subscribe to taking the highroad, I will go lower than anyone in bringing a backhoe to go even lower still.

Point is Toyota needs to just get in bed with Apple and android like every other sensible carmaker and make all head units android auto and Apple CarPlay compatible. Entune Is Toyota is equivalent to the Edsel.

I provide risk assessments and recommendations to general officers, I am the Almighty master of risk management, and you are correct, you should pipe down.

OP, there is a wire that you can bypass with a switch that allows you to continue to drive and not be locked out. I don't know which wire for the 3rd gen though. I used the service manual to find mine.

So a 25B provides risk assessments to general officers.......Okay cool.....Didn't know the help desk was so life or death bud. I've made a lot of literal life or death decisions in my career too, doesn't give me a right to drive drunk and plow through an elementary school. That being said I'm not here for a pissing contest. Either way the vet card holds zero precedence here guy and doesn't make you anymore qualified than anyone else with a drivers license. "I'm a VET!!!!" Isn't going to be an appropriate response when you accidentally murder someone on the Interstate. Now go buy some more Gruntstyle gear

Actually yes laptops catching fire due to lithium ion batteries reaching high temperatures is one of the things we have on our checklist. Very good bro.

In your professional assessment, what are the risks you will be perma-banned from TW.

What are the odds that the members who could help you will actually not, because, you know, their children?

At least you are consistent, I will give you that....

You could always fab up a single or double din mount below where the cupholders are or in console and use the fabbed location for radio stuff and stock headunit for info alone.

With that attitude I'm glad you got out. No wonder you feel like you're "owed" something. In my MOS I could get out contracting with a near six figure salary and no degree. Sure people join for a steady pay check and benefits but a lot of us do it to do something more for our country. I wouldn't have reenlisted if I was just in it for the BAH and somewhat comfortable salary, especially when you factor in all the negatives like long hours, fuck fuck games and ya know potential to deploy/and or die. Many of us on here are either active or former service members and I highly doubt we all signed for just a paycheck and nothing else. Just like I am sure you'd get more support with your question if you weren't advocating such careless actions and putting peoples families and loved ones in needless and careless danger.

I think you're talking to a brick wall with an ego higher than everest. He probably read what you wrote(if he did) and went straight to thinking "I've a vet. I'm smart. I do what a want. CAWCAW!" I bet he makes a lot of friends.

I’d be more interested in downloading the OS to a partitioned section of the new head unit drive. The only question is how do I get my hands on the OS with the root access?

You do realize reading texts while driving is the exact opposite of staying alert?
