You are very wrong but whatever bud and yes you are making that stuff up. Dealer's will sell for more and sure you may ask for more private party but it does not add to your trade in value whatsoever. But please enlighten the rest of us with why you know different, not like the rest of us haven't lifted many of these trucks and sold/traded them.

Agreed, goes along with what we were discussing in another thread. Guess I'll never learn, lol.

I considered this before I ordered my truck. I figured they're so cheap I had nothing to lose... until I learned they are about to introduce a 60kwhr batt (vs 24 you're looking at). No one is going to want 24 after that. Plus, there is just not enough fast charging around.

I agree with you on the parts and service. That is a big part of their income. Not just with vehicles but any equipment/recreational toy dealership. I just think there is more going on than them only putting $500 in their pocket on that particular sale, despite what they show you. All I'm sayin.

I guess I will chime in. I don't like my MPG not because it sucks (which it does in the city), but because it was suppose to be 19 MPG in the city and its frigin 14-16. Its not that want my $2-3 a gas tank I lost but if it says it will get 19 then it should get 19. It's about the fact that Toyota claims we can average a certain amount of MPG and the truck is not doing what it suppose to do. I do not baby mine for MPG. I tried that one time driving home from the gas station and it about drove me frigin nuts. I drive my truck regular, gas when I need to but not going 90 down the road. I want my 18-19 MPG just because that's what the little paper on the window said I should get. ( I average 14.5 MPG driving to work each day with no lift, and no mods to wheels or suspension) That sucks!

Look up how EPA does their testing and then compare that to how you use your truck.

Dang due thats a bummer. I drive 100 miles round trip to work in the worst traffic area in the country which usually takes me 2 hours 1 way. I still average 19+ I've done two road trips already and they also averaged 19..

I like buying high octane - reverses all of the above negatives. Would br getting 35 mpg otherwise...
The gas ads don't lie bro.

9.6MPG on the way to work due to either a head wind or because I put ArmorAll on my tires lol. Who cares about MPG when you fill up at this price. 1479865002273.jpg

Then you got lucky or the dealer did it to make the deal, your experience is not the norm.

Yeah. They added the extra trade in onto the price of the new vehicle. I see it everyday
