Hope this makes you smile as much as it made me smile. Everything can't be all serious, all Tacomas, all the time! :)

"Earlier this year, Nissan celebrated Brian Murphy, one of its busiest customers who managed to log over one million miles on his manual 2007 Nissan Frontier. Now the company has offered him a trade: He gets a 2020 Nissan Frontier if he trades in his old one so the automaker can memorialize it. What’s funny is the two trucks, all those years between them, are almost the same."

Sweet. Nissan. Best truck on the market IMO but I do like that stupid Equator even more

If I could get a new 1st gen, I'd put it on jacks running 24/7.

    Just kidding. Not really.

The original story had nissan giving him a new crew cab pro 4x frontier. That truck in this story seems to fit his needs better if you listen to him in the original video release. I think it was at the Chicago auto show

I had that same truck but Nismo 4.0 Auto. I got because the used 07 sport DCSB (sliver) was too far out of my price range . Was a decent truck actually. Sold with 120 K, however timing chain did go out around 70K and ext warranty did not cover!!! So the dealer helped out- think I paid 1200 my pocket. Turning radius’s sucked balls. Traded in for my 13 Tacoma sport DCLB and now have my 2020 Sport. Let’s just say I’ll never go back to Nissian . Yet- like said a decent truck if you average Joe who doesn’t care for style/ performance etc :)

To add to this , my 13 Tacoma had 169K miles , no issues and 10 times better looking / performing truck! Hence why I have my 2020.

My frontier was pretty solid and I enjoyed that truck. Only problem I had was with the filler neck. It was a good truck. Only dislike was the turning radius. Less problems than either of my Tacoma’s. Overall a damn good truck.

Back in 1973 they were still datsun 2wd pickups. I owned one. It was a pos as far as the bodies on them. I think after 5 years, and 60k some miles the entire body rotted off, but that little pickup still ran great. I had bungee cords everywhere holding that thing together.

I've been driving my 2010 Pro-4x 6spd for 6 years now. Seriously thinking about buying a '20 CCSB with the new 3.8L and 9AT. I like the look and overall design, I don't mind a basic truck without all the latest safety tech. I'm going to hold out to see the 2021 though!

Most impressive is that he drove a Million miles around Chicago and didn't get shot, carjacked, or beat up.

No 6MT for '20, No official word on if it will return for the 3rd gen.

I've heard good things about the 3.8L/9spd but I'd have a tough time choosing it over the new 7spd Bronco. The Frontier's crawl ratio is quite impressive at least.
