Entertainment Screen stuck on boot up screen

Can’t seem to find a whole lot of information on this issue.
My Tacoma's entertainment screen is stuck on a backup camera warning message / start up screen.
It’ll try to refresh every once in a while but ends up back at the same screen.
Can’t use any features like radio or navigation, phone, whatever.
The back up camera will still activate when I put the truck in reverse though.

There was a couple people I found that said to put your car in reverse and leave it for a while and obviously that didn’t work.
Holding the power button to hard reset it doesn’t work.
Tried disconnecting the cars battery terminal for a while. Didn’t work.

Anybody have any ideas? Last thing I want to do is take it to the dealership and have them tell me I have to replace the whole thing and charge me out the ass.

 

I work at a dealer, we would try the same thing and still quote a new radio.

this is common and I’ve replaced quite a few.

Definitely look at a modern aftermarket radio replacement
