I wanted to share some pics of the entire Xpel PPF. All emblems removed and then reattached so film is under emblems, no seams. Headlights are also wrapped.
    I’m happy with the results

    Nope
I have numerous cars wrapped and they are holding up after 5 years. In an event, Xpel has a 10 year warranty

All depends on the installer. Choosing the right installer makes all the difference. Expect to pay around 5K

Xpel is expensive. My guess anywhere from 5-8k depending on what he got done.

Stealth wouldn’t work well on Voodoo Blue. It would mute the color. Stealth would look amazing on the new Army Green

I was quoted $900Cdn to do a clear wrap on a front clip and $1800 to do a whole truck by a place in Victoria B.C. called SHC Autographx Ltd. The sales guy said it would last 10 years, would NOT stop all rock chips but was like an extra layer of clear coat. I passed, at least for now.

I would be very suspicious about that price to Xpel entire truck. The application was a 4 day process. Like I said the installer makes all the difference in the outcome

A good paint is not what Maaco claims they are in term of price point

I remember a there was an Inferno Pro back in 2015 who also did a full PPF, and everyone ripped him apart lol.

Good job though @raidercraig, I wish I could of done a full ppf right away on my truck.

No offense, but I don't get the point of paying $5-8K for something like that. Where as basic detailing and the occasional chip fix costs almost nothing. That prices just seems asinine to me.

Like what do you think is going to happen to the truck to even come close to covering a fraction of that price? lol

PPF has its benefits when consideration of the preservation of a paint. Yes you *can* go back and correct it to be flawless, but there's a good chance it'd end up all marred up again from basic daily driving and when washing a vehicle. You can minimize the amount of love mars with proper technique, but you'd still be cutting away at the clear coat. PPF adds another layer/barrier to this.

End of the day, different strokes for different folks. PPF is a great solution.
