Looks great. I almost had my E63 wrapped in Xpel, but it was a damn lot of money. I shelled out the cash for Huper Optik tint. Ended up selling the car 5 months later. Was quite happy I hadn’t wrapped it. It was tough enough losing the cost of the tint.

I am quite impressed at the self healing properties of Xpel. It’s some pretty awesome stuff. Glad you were able to have it done. What did you do on the bottom of the rockers where it’s purposely orange peeled paint?

If you painted the vehicle it would obviously match, partial then maybe not. The pro paint guys these days are pretty good.

Spending 5k to ppf a Tacoma, makes total sense...

Metallic colors are much easier to blend. Non metallic colors are another story. Voodoo Blue is non metallic color

If I could wrap my windshield and it would stop cracks and chips I might do it.

Yes for an OR. Good luck on a pro. I read many posts of owners paying over sticker. Would I pay over sticker hell no. But for those that payed over MSRP, it’s their money and I would never post a snaky comment.

I know really, people brag on here about paying under MSRP or the PRO is too much and make fun of people who buy a PRO and then they go and do this. Sounds like the Pot calling the Kettle Black.

Whats a "snaky" comment? Yep, I've had a few Tacomas, never wanted a Pro and yes I have an OR, pretty familar with how pricing goes with these trucks. And its a forum filled with opinions whether you agree or don't or feel they are "snaky" or not people will chime in, kinda comes with the territory dude. Glad you are happy though with the outcome of your wrap and in the end thats all that matters.

TW is filled with a lot of valuable information. I don’t read all posts, only the ones that I’m interested in or learning from.

I have to laugh at how worked up everyone is getting because the OP spent $5k on a wrap. I’ll bet a good portion of the people shit talking him, spend that much on frivolous crap every year.
It’s amazing to see who much people will blow at a casino, or on alcohol or tobacco, or other crap, like designer clothes, wallets, handbags for the wife, etc.

God forbid someone spend their own money like that protecting their vehicle.
