In the market for my first boat. Will probably buy one next summer.

A couple that I’m interested in are:

    Bayliner Element M15

    Tahoe T16

Something small but roomy and fairly easy to tow with a Tacoma.

Will be mainly used for cruising, relaxing, light fishing, tubing/recreational fun.

If anyone has any input or other options I’m all ears.

Depending on how much you've got to spend and how big of a boat you're looking at. I've thought about getting a Luhrs 320 Convertible. Really depends on your slip and marina.

I had a Bayliner VR5 OB and did not care for it. The interior fiberglass cutouts looked like they were done with a chain saw. The VR5 was designed as an I/O so when they made the OB they left a huge empty compartment where the motor went and stuck the OB at the end of the swim platform so it took longer to plane. The Tahoe you pictured has the motor mounted on the transom.
I've got a Stingray 182SC and it marginally better quality than the Bayliner. I have friends with a Robalo, Glastron and Four Winds which are much better fit and finish.

15-16' is a pretty small boat. When you get to carrying tubes they'll be little room for people in a boat that seats 5-6 people. I'm cramped sometimes with a 19' boat.
    Like @Dbrva says it's how much $$$.

If you're worried about pulling it with a Taco, my Sport pulled the 20' VR5 without issue, but I never went more than 50 miles.

What state are you in? Salt water fresh water? Use? How far is the tow to the water?
These things can help you filter out what type of boat you need

Thank you all for the responses. Been a while since I posted this. Unfortunately we’ve had to put a new roof on the house and a new furnace. It’s eaten up most of the cash that would be available for toys.

    Don't give up the dream.

Scarab 195 or Sanger V215 are worth looking at.
