Picked up a new 17 Taco on Friday with the Entune Plus radio. Manual says to get navigation, you need to use Entune on a connected phone. I went to toyota.com/entune and attempted to register, but it says it can't find my VIN.

Does anyone know if the VIN has to be registered by the dealer as being 'active' once the vehicle is sold? If so, I'd expect it may be a couple days before it would show up and allow me to register it.

I'm having the same issue with mine (SR5). Is the Entune App Suite not available for Entune plus?

Yep, it's "Entune plus" but you don't get to use Entune. Can't register. The navigation stuff is done through an app called Scout GPS Link... which gets HORRIBLE reviews on the Google Play Store. I set it up in my Taco a little while ago... yeah, it's not very good. When you enter a destination, you do not get a map. You get half of the screen showing a big ass arrow indicating a turn, then the right half is divided in steps like "Right turn on UNKNOWN"

It's not very good, I'm afraid. Oh well, I can just use Google Maps navigation directly on my phone.
