Entune Acting Up When Humid

Anyone else having problems with their Entune system acting up - touchscreen & steering wheel controls becoming unresponsive - when it's humid out? When this happens it all seems to come back if I manually adjust the volume but this shouldn't be happening with a 7 month old truck! Dealership updated the software/firmware last time I was there but it hasn't fixed the problem.

 

I'm not trying to be a wiseguy here, but if the dealer has acknowledged the issues, it seems they still should be working on a fix. I know it's a pain, but I'd get back in their hands.

 

Yep. Over the last couple weeks mine has beeped and put itself on mute a few times and frozen up a couple times. I end up having to reset it to get it to work again.

 

Which model Entune?

In the home of humidity here, literally a fucking swamp, no issues with my OEM headunit.

 

Mine has done this odd thing twice in the last 2 weeks (and never before) where the nav locks up while driving. Still shows the active map of where I am, but the panel that shows the next turn just freezes, and any attempt to cancel the route or change it locks the whole unit up for a few minutes. I doubt it's related to humidity, but it's certainly a new development.

 

Mine's been flawless for a year. But rained quite a bit this week. For whatever reason, mine kept changing stations. From FM to XM. Preset 1 to 5. Happened for a couple minutes. Hasn't happened again. But a bit disappointed.

 

believe me, it will be. Just wanted to make sure I'm not alone. It's just a pain to coordinate getting it in there and picking it up, especially when chasing electrical gremlins. If it comes to it, I'll just demand a new unit be installed.

Add another Entune issue here. Today the head unit exhibited a new trick, it changed stations, and then rapidly changed stations, like station scanning, but never landed on a station long enough to resolve a signal. I took a video for my dealer.
