So I've found what I consider to be a very weird difference in the volume levels in my enTune audio system.

When I play music from my iPhone (connected via BlueTooth), every artist/album/song I have tried, even at the Maximum volume of 60, is very soft. When driving at highway speeds (65+ MPH), at 60 on the volume, with all windows up, I can easily talk to my passenger at a normal talking voice, and hear easily over the radio. When driving with any window even partially open, the wind/highway noise completely drowns out the radio.

When I play any radio station, either AM, FM or XM, the enTune volume at 60 is much, much louder. Almost what I would call "what I was expecting".

I have as yet not tried connecting an iPod, or other music player, to the enTune via the Aux input to test how loud the sound is at volume 60.

Has anyone else encountered this same issue? If so, have you been able to correct it, so that the sound level is the same, regardless of what source/connection you use?

    Thanks.

You need to turn up the volume on your phone.

turn your phones volume up for bluetooth. Same goes when using the aux cable.

Thanks guys, will give that a try on my drive in to work tomorrow. I usually have the volume on my phone on max, but some apps you do have to adjust the volume for that app itself. Hadn't thought to try the volume when I'm in the music app.

Ok, so this morning, before leaving home, I did check the volume on my iPhone while in the Music app, and it was indeed very low. Once I bumped it up, I was able to actually listen to and enjoy the new Brad Paisley album on my drive in to work :D

I feel like a dumb ass for not thinking to check this. On my VW Passat that I sold a couple weeks ago, the volume on the phone made no difference at all when playing through the stereo via BlueTooth, so I'd never run into this issue before.

    Thank you everyone!

Speaking of Entune volume issues, does anybody's "volume levelizer" actually work? I had a '16 and now a '17, and the levelizer in neither one seems to levelize. (assuming the function is understood...as you drive faster, the volume automatically increases, right?) Mine apparently stays the same volume regardless of speed.

(hope no one accuses me of attempting to hijack this thread)

I haven't played with the "Levelizer" feature just yet.

In my 2014 VW Passat that I sold back recently, it's factory audio system had the same feature, and it did work quite nicely.

I used the volume levelizer today, and it does seem to work on my truck. So far have only tried it on the "High" setting, so can't say how it compares to "Medium" or "Low" yet.
