    Hi all
Apologies if this has been posted but I don't think it has. I have a 2017 trd sport upgrade package that I picked up on Wednesday. I have connected it to bluetooth and have no problem making phone calls. When I have gone to set up messaging I am having problems. I have gone into my settings on my iPhone and have put show notifications on. It still is not working. Is my iPhone compatiable?

    Its an iPhone 6se

My 6S works fine... wish I could help you out with the settings.

Messaging is annoying anyway. You don’t really need it.

Did you look in the Bluetooth settings, turn it on in there. Hopefully that will work for you, someone with a 17 will be able to answer you better. Good luck.

Many of us HAD issues in the past. I forget at what iOS update all of my issues disappeared but I was under the impression that the situation was solved. I wish I could give you a solution but do search of the site and maybe there is something I have overlooked.

Depends on what messaging not working means. The Entune system will only notify you that a message exists if the truck is moving, and will not put the text on the head unit while moving, it only gives you the option to have the Entune unit read the message aloud.

Well some want the full texting/messaging functionality as if you had your phone in hand.

That will never happen, due to the class action liability for cause in fatal texting accidents.

Yep. A couple of months ago there was an IOS update and I had to go into settings and tweak something or other. Wish I could recall what it was.

I had a different issue today while trying to get my contacts in my new(to me) radio. when I switched the "Sync Contact" to on --it then worked. there is another setting right next to the sync called "show notifications" ?? Maybe?
