Wondering if anyone knows where the gps antenna for the 2012 Tacoma with Entune is located. Is the sat antenna by chance a combo satellite / gps antenna?
I've looked at the trucks with Entune and I didn't notice anything obvious.
I'm wondering if I might already have a gps antenna on the truck for when I upgrade the non-Entune stock radio.

    Thanks.

Probably coupled with the XM antenna in the shark fin on roof, would be my guess.

I can tell you the GPS is coupled with my Satellite antenna within the shark fin on my 2014 Tacoma.

A bit of a silly question, I have the shark fin antena on my 2009( I just got the truck) but my radio doesn't have sat. or GPS...why do I have it?

Is it a factory head unit? It may be Sirius/XM capable just not activated? I didn't realize that the "shark fin" was available in 2009.

From my research on this forum, I have found out the following:

    - a 2012 with shark fin has GPS and XM/Satellite/Entune reader components
    - it does not plug/couple with the 2014 Entune/XM/GPS antenna
    - you will need an auxiliary antenna for the GPS (some members have achieved Entune)

    Good luck and happy searching!

But you can make it work.
