Does anyone know the factory location of the gps antenna?

I just replaced my Entune HD radio with an Entune HD plus navigation unit. Despite removing the glove box and trim, I could not figure out where the factory install location was. I ended up stuffing it behind the radio on top of the gap between the air ducts. It is a firm fit and works perfectly, so I doubt that I will relocate it. My gps antenna is mounted on a steel plate with mounting holes. However, the holes do not seem to line up with anything under the dash. I do know the antenna has to be face up, with no metal between it and the great outdoors.

At this point, this is just idle curiosity. The base radio does not come with a gps antenna. If it had, I would know where it was, but then, I would not have had to fool with it in the first place.

Can't help as far as stock location is concerned, but I just stuck mine right on top of the radio receiver body with the provided adhesive tape. The stock GPS antenna I purchased with the 2014 radio did not come with a metal plate, just adhesive backing. Been working fine in that location.

That is exactly what mine looks like. I "mounted" it in that position, with the cable pointing toward the radio.

Perhaps this is one of life's great mysteries. I thought about buying access to a factory service manual. but was not sure it would be in there. If I am going to pay about $30, I want to know I will get the information I am looking for.
