2016 Barcelona Red Metallic Tacoma TRD Off Road

Just took delivery of our Tacoma this week and curiosity about to get the best of me...

While traveling on the Interstate today with a destination set on the GPS, there were small yellow triangles in random places along the route. It was on both sides of the interstate and could not figure out what those triangles stood for.

We thought it was overpasses, signs, mile makers, etc. but nothing matched up to the triangles.

Any ideas? Cannot find any legends in the manual or reference online.
