    2 - Samsung galaxy s8 phones

We have deleted all phones, added back in just one phone
Disconnected the entune app reconnected via the app
Force stopped the app and restarted the phone
Our pandora account is configured in the app

No matter what we do 2 out of 3 times we receive some kind of error either tether or unable to connect to pandora every time we get in the truck. It is driving both of us insane. We have pretty much resorted to using just Bluetooth streaming because it appears the Pandora app in the radio just does not work.

Also where can we verify the radio is up to date?

Similar issues with HTC M8 and HTC 10. The M8 wouldn't send/receive txt messages. No bt tethering problems, but several times a week randomly the entune pandora app will give me "insufficient bandwidth". Every time it does that I can just use the pandora app on my phone with bt audio.

Another thing I find crappy is I pay for pandora so I get no comercials and unlimited skips, but using the entune pandora I still get limited skips. If I use bt audio and the android app the skips are unlimited.

My entune has updated several times since I got the truck last year over the air, so I think it automatically updates to whatever the latest is when its tethered using the entune app.

I'll probably get an aftermarket stereo later this year.

Should mention we uninstalled the actual pandora app from The phone this a.m. and it has been working ever since. More testing results to follow.

Pandora has been down for most of the week. I know a lot of people are having issues. I had to uninstall off of phone, restart, etc a good 4 times before it finally started working for me again.

On a related note, GF took truck today, and paired her phone to listen to her Spotify. When we got back in together, it was a nightmare to figure out how to get my phone and pandora working again. Both have Samsung 7s's, so the phone names come up the same. Frustrating as shit.

I use pandora at work all day every day (on pc) and on my android driving to/from work, and use it to fall asleep to every night and haven't had any problems this week, I don't think there's been anything wrong with the service.

Using the app in the truck or just streaming via BT audio? *edit* sorry misread, yeah we haven't had any issues with the Pandora service just the app in the truck. We could BT stream without issue when the app failed to connect.

So far since we uninstalled the Pandora app from our phones the trucks app has worked perfect. 5 times so far, this is more than we have ever got it to work in the past.

I had the same phone and same problem as you. Mine would not play Pandora about every third time. At my 10000 mile service I told dealership about it and they checked and the radio needed to be updated. That was about a month ago and that did nothing. About a week ago Samsung sent an update to my phone and now it still does it but very rarely. I think it's more an app problem than a radio problem

try uninstalling the Pandora app from your phone. I read it on the camry forums seems to work for a lot of people and so far it's working for us as well

My Pandora app hasn't worked once in my truck. I just use the Bluetooth sync and turn on Pandora on my phone.

People were definitely having a lot of problems over the last week or so however, as shown in "down detector" website.

What was strange for me was it stopped working on my phone (despite repeated phone restarts and pandora uninstall /installs), but was still good in the truck. Until Thursday. Then wouldn't work in either one.

I think maybe some glitch in an update, and has since been fixed, but people may need to do a fresh uninstall / install to get rid of the "bad" update from last week.

Has been working fine all day for me in the truck, and have Pandora back on the phone working for the first time in about 10 days now.

Has anyone seen/used the Toyota "3.0" entune app. I started having issues with my pandora last night. I am wondering if it has anything to do with that new 3.0 entune app

iPhone 6 and now my LG G6 have had zero problems since owning the truck for the last year and a half. Pandora has worked fine for me all week. Has to be phone related or perhaps software version on your head unit?

I stopped trying to use my Entune Pandora app, and now just use Bluetooth. It still shows track info, and I think it's got better audio quality.

Fairly disappointing at first, but it was pretty easy to get over.

So it's still working fine since deleting the Pandora app from our phones. Odd that Toyota hasn't figured out their app and the actual pandora app don't play well together.

Pandora/Android can be finicky when being used with another service, Entune in this case. I've had issues with Pandora and my Entune and also the Pioneer HU in my last truck. I've tried clearing bluetooth cache, phone cache, factory resets, reinstalling apps, resetting the HU's by pulling power, you name it.

From what I've found, rebooting the phone and letting the Entune phone app handle the Pandora duties is the way to go. If you open Pandora manually and use it outside of Entune, forget about it. You'll have to reboot the phone. And even then sometimes Pandora won't start so I select Slacker through the HU for a song or two, then Pandora will start working again. And a side note, Slacker has worked 100% of the time through Entune. But I think Slacker is garbage and I have a lot of time invested in my Pandora account.

    My $0.02.

Got a 32GB USB stick and loaded it with mp3s. Best music solution for this truck IMO.

I have had this problem and one of 2 things work for me. If I see it's not connecting I just unlock my phone (enter password or whatever) and it will work most of the time *you will have to do this before the error. The 2nd solution - This is for android not sure about iPhone. If it's not working pull down the notification screen (drag your finger from the top of the sceen) and you will see the Entune running click on it and click force stop. Push your home button or back button and then go to the Entune app from your home screen or app drawer once it loads it will connect. It's alot faster then de syncing Bluetooth and/or uninstalling and Reinstalling the app. Hopefully this helps

Weird. I have a an s8+ and have no issues. It connects better than my S6 did. I do notice though if you are leaving your house and are connected to wi-fi, it sometimes takes longer to buffer or errors out when you leave wi-fi range and are on your data network.
