Entune plays but doesn't control BT Audio

I'm stumped. My 2016 TRDOR entune suddenly stopped displaying cover art and allowing the HU and steering wheel controls to be used when trying to pause or skip music being played over Bluetooth.

I've updated entune, deleted personal data, re-synced the phone, cleared the bt cache, etc. Anyone got any ideas? At least the music plays, I just can't use it hands free at the moment.

 

Have you tried restarting your phone. I reboot my phone once a week to make sure it works well with all my BT connectioned devices.

Also, try uninstalling the Entune app on your phone to see if that is causing the problem. You can alway reinstall the app if you like, but I have never put the Entune app on my phone.

 

Lol! The one thing I didn't do. Rebooted phone and all is well now. I've had this phone paired to my truck for the last two years and never experienced this. Lesson learned, start small.

 

I have never seen that screen...? Different software?
