Entune plus radio

This radio is out of my 2018 Tacoma, but I am pretty sure it will fit all models. Has the scout gps, weather app, and traffic app. Was only in my truck for around 8000 miles. $200

Might be interested. Do these radios need any kind of unlock code? Does it also have XM?

 

That looks like a head unit found in models prior to 2016.

 

No but you will need a gps antenna for the weather/traffic app, around $15 on Amazon. I think I have a xm reiciver I can through in if you want it.

 

It is of a 2018 but the wiring is same as earlier models.

 

Interested in seeing more pics. Rear connections. My truck has XM, but wasn't sure if receiver was built in or external. I would nee to figure out what connector the GPS needed.

 

If you have a factory radio it is attached to it, but can be separated. The back will look like this.

this is what I did and it works great.

 

None of the antennas on Amazon seem to match the shape of the single port on the back of the receiver. Most are square. The receiver pic shows one rounded area instead of a corner.

 

that's right you cut of the plastic and it plugs right in no problem just like the person in that link did.

 

Sorry, missed that and went straight to Amazon link. I was looking at Fakra connectors on Google, but none seem to match the Toyota one. Same kind of proprietary crap as with the trailer harness plug.

will it fit a 2014 that never had entune or GPS? Does it display the reverse camera?

 

yes it should but you will need the antenna from Amazon($13) for the weather/traffic app to work. The gps works of your smart phone.

 

Mine has been acting wonky and the reverse function has gone out. I may consider this if some of my items sell - or maybe we could do a trade? Take a look at the stuff I have for sale and let me know.

Will it work in a 2008 with a double din install kit?
