    If you are experiencing:
"Waiting for Bluetooth Connection" and or your Entune touch screen doesn't show a Bluetooth Icon/Option, or your Bluetooth Icon/Option disappeared, or your Bluetooth Icon/Option has disappeared and you cannot connect to any Bluetooth devices. Which from my research is a fairly common Entune Plus problem. Keep in mind that this is probably not the fix for a single Bluetooth Device pairing problem.

Here is the fix that worked for me as was suggested by GFF Taco in this thread; https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bluetooth-issues.574143/#post-18980129

Like BFF Taco mentions this sounds like total BS, but it works like a champ.......

"Okay so "waiting for blue tooth" tried to connect any and all the phones that have ever been connected with the radio failed to fix anything. Then I read about turning [the] ignition to on but not starting engine and letting the radio power on then holding in the "app" button at the same time turning lights on then off 3 times (I thought someone was jerking my chain) brought up a diagnostic screen. In the bottom left corner toggle button "INT" it will say something about personalize data yes or no, I pressed yes and exited out by holding in the power button and then blue-tooth was working again.
Hope this helps, if your like me there was no way I was going to wait a month for it to magically start working again.
    Cheers"

Here it is step by step:
    1. Turn ignition on, not "acc", but don't start the vehicle
    2. Allow the Head Unit/Radio to go through its initialization process, hitting continue when the prompt comes up.
    3. While pressing and holding in the physical "APPS" button to the left of the screen turn the lights on then off 3 times.
    4. A diagnostic screen you've probably never seen before will appear.
    5. On the lower left of the touch screen a small box lettered "INT" or "INIT" will appear, press it. It takes a while so be patient. It will erase all personal data (station presets, icons, any Bluetooth pairings, etc.) and set things back to factory settings.
    6. When it's completed you should be back at the home screen and you should have your Bluetooth Icon/App back again.
I have no idea what anything else on the diagnostics screen means, but pressing "INT" worked for me.
    Thanks, GFF Taco
