Entune update on Limited 2017

My entune updated yesterday when I got my truck out of garage. I have Toyota entune app on my S7. Now every time I get in truck an start it. Entune app starts up on My phone. Anybody else noticed this on their phone?

 

Yes, mine does too. Allows me to use Pandora, Facebook, etc., through the head unit.

 

entune is supposed to start on your phone so you can use the features.

That's why it tells you on the headunit that you must have an app running on your phone.

 

Yeah. I use to have to open app in my phone. Now it does it automatically. I guess its one less thing to think about.

 

Yeah, curious about how much it's going to drain the battery. I'm not sure how much it runs in the background or what services it runs on my phone. I'm on a S8+.

 

I got thinking true enough my entune updated. But, my entune app on my phone did too. Maybe it was app on phone that is making it connect every time I start truck.

 

Mine has been connecting automatically even before this update. Unfortunately, the update didn't address my constant rebooting issue.
