Entune Update

Yeah, used to be able to hold the call/phone icon on steering wheel. "hey Google" still works. Just have to yell .

 

I have never used the phone or voice controls on the wheel. Just talked to the phone. I believe you are right though, I have to say Okay Google louder now than before.

BTW, have you tried out the Night Sight camera mod yet?

Updated. No Pandora, not that I used the entune platform for it anyway as too buggy. Taco did not explode.

 

i did the update and all. no issues. removed the app off my phone. i just use BT from my phone even though it's annoying if i forget to leave pandora in memory.

 

Any fixes to the mysterious head unit reboot with this update that makes it worth downloading the app and installing? Side note - was in a rental last week and experienced apple play for the first time. Phone just worked with the car (no pairing) - Waze, Spotify etc, everything via the head unit. It was as close to the holy grail of head unit in sync with phone screen.

Weird. It auto updated yesterday for me. I noticed it when looking for the Entune app update info.

Even though the release date is shown as September 2017, it is different than the OTA updates.

 

So with no Pandora I'm trying to set up all my stations on iHeartRadio. On my phone it automatically created a My Mix favorite radios! But it won't pull in on entune. Is there a way to make it play shovel btw all my stations?

 

i tried iheart for a day and after realizing that it doesn't auto play it no longer was an option for me.

if you guys are using an android phone, you should install "Bluetooth Connect and Play" from the app store. it will make any music player automatically play when you connect to any bluetooth device.

I find the whole entune thing an extra layer thats not necessary.

 

I wish iOS had something like that.

Question, if you guys don’t update the entune apps on your phone will you still be able to use Pandora?

Maybe just don’t update the app?

 

I will say my iPhone 8plus auto connects to Bluetooth just fine. Maybe do a hard reset and try it again?
