Entune weather

I hope they issue an update to fix this problem soon. I tow my boat to different lakes just about every week. I sure miss using the weather feature of Entune .

 

My 2014 did it once. I was told to disconnect battery for about 20 mins and reconnect. Make sure and be in an area where signal is available.

 

I’ll try try disconnecting the battery tomorrow. Let you know what happens.

Maybe your experience will differ

 

I have searched and it led me here, I have been looking for the settings for HD on my 2017 but have failed. I RTFM as I always do first still no luck. Looked for the "radio" in the top corner and don't see it. Maybe I am blind.

I tried these as well
1. Never updated
2. Don't have the app on my phone
3. Just set the unit so it won't down load by phone
4. Have Galaxy S6
So far no luck with enabling HD

Never tried it. My updates are automatic.

 

I disconnected the battery for about an hour this morning, reconnected and took it for a drive. No luck!

 

Since you have an entune headunit, tap "audio" on the driver side top corner of the headunit. In the top left corner of the screen on the headunit there is a button that says "options" it just let's you turn hd radio on and off and a couple other things

 

No wonder I'm not able to find it....I have no option button....weird!

I live two and half hours from the nearest HD transmitter. The weather comes through the phone when not connected through FM HD.

And mine's not working either.

Sorry I wasn't too clear, tap the fm input. Then it should be there

 

I will double check the FM mode but I think I pressed most of them.

 

It was there....I'm just a dumbass. I don't listen to the radio very often and never hit the options button, which is weird....I like to check out all the options and settings to see what they do.

How close any HD stations do you need to be to get HD reception? It would seem I am about 30 miles or so for any station with HD, also not sure if Maine has HD traffic or weather.
