    I've seen this problem in other Toyotas. It was related to syncing a large number of song playlists OR contacts over. I had a friend who had an exchange account on their phone that was trying to sync their phone contacts, including all exchange contacts, over to the headunit, causing it to crash. Try disabling syncing of contacts and see if it still does it.

    Well in my case, I didn't have that many contacts and there wasn't a lot of information with each contact. I have no play lists programmed.

    Not only was mine rebooting without warning or reason, but the navigation kept getting lost! Happened several times with us in DC.
