    Police use tasers far too often, they are not non-lethal weapons, only less-lethal and should only be used in specific circumstances to disable a potentially dangerous individual.

    The "You're fix'n to get lit up." statement shows that this officer has the wrong attitude and improper training when it comes to tasers. Many departments and more officers have been successfully sued for improper use of tasers.

    The Taser company itself once touted that it had never been successfully sued but this was only because of its habit of settling out of court. More recently it has lost cases for several million dollars.
