Great job man! There are many jobs I do that would be much cheaper (and probably better) if I had someone else do them. However, sometimes...

    Thanks for the compliment.

There are 3 skill sets I admire, but don't have the patience for; Plumbing, Drywall Finishing and Auto Body. I'll be the first one to call my paint job "good from far, but far from good".

That’s ok bro. You did it. Lots of work that’s for sure.

Daaaamn!!! The commitment to cutting down the sides and not the center. Also that is some amazing fiberglass work. I'm not entirely unskilled but would have made a mess of this. Great job!!!

Maybe down the middle would have been easier and placed the "scar" on the roof and mostly out of sight, but the original fiberglass appeared thicker along the upper lengthwise corners, so it seemed the safer bet at the time.

My first thought was why bother, but I can dig it, I’m a mechanic and I like taking on otherwise crazy nonsense jobs just to tackle it.

Nice work, wish I was that good with non mechanical jobs.

Didn't know what you meant by rare sociopath who loves difficult projects...and then I kept reading.

Props to you. Turned out great!

Wow. That's got to be the best fiberglass transformation I've seen anywhere, and I'm on my 3rd life as a fabrication copy cat. Well payed sir, well played.
