Yeah hopefully Seto doesnt move this year. There are some land use issues tying up "the cove" so if it is in Tracy City this year it may be the last time it is...

I have zero worries. After Badlands you can drop the truck at the house. Then it wont be so bad when you need to come out. Just drag an empty trailer

So its officially not in Tracy City this year...poop.

Gonna be at Windrock, a few hrs closer for me so I am still in, but slightly dissapointed. I am sure it will still be a great event nonetheless.

Well they are 4" Wider than stock and I am running 3.75" BS rims, 15" tires. I want to say they stick out at least 10" On each side. I am 84" wide outside tire to outside tire.

:D It's fucking expensive! But so worth it. I honestly believe I will cry in joy when it's installed and I turn the wheel.

Just use the D44 from the jeep wagoneer. It's stock width.

Thanks for the pictures and kind words..

In the video where Jon is video taping in the cab is where I broke my rear axle (passenger side) and twisted the splines on the driver side. I told Jon to put his seatbelt on (which I never wear wheeling unless I am REALLY HARD on the truck) And well after 1 minute of seatbelt Eric, SNAP!

The shaft broke off into millions of pieces into the differential

However, I broke 10 am in the morning and wheeled it pretty decently hard with a fucked up rear end until 5 pm at night. I didn't do any bypasses (except 1) throughout the rest of the day. At the end of the day the truck was done, bearing failed and the seal blew out puking diff fluid.

Yes, yes you did  It allows me to control the truck MUCH better. I highly recommend one.

    Classic...

So today I found out my rear axle shafts were installed wrong. They had the bearing on the wrong side of the vacuum plate causing the splines in the 3rd to not make the full contact. Hence why I twisted the driver side and most likely twisted the passenger side leading to the break.

Fucking wonderful. New chromo shafts will be ordered tomorrow.....

Ps, I am looking for a box for my truck. Had it with how ugly the bed cage is and am going to hack it off and put a box back on and fab some shit together. I miss the "TRUCK". I don't want a jungle gym.

So keep an eye out for me if you will! :D

I don't think the cage looks bad. :notsure:

I'd strongly suggest you at least try to fab some mounts for removable bed sides (wyatt's truck comes to mind) and try that before you go removing the cage.

Also, I think you'd feel better about the cage if you add a flatbed area like NwiTACO's.

Yeah, some people like it but I really don't care what they think. I wasn't a fan with it since Josh started to make it and it was too late to say anything... And he was suppose to finish it but never did. I could do removable bed sides... But then I'd still need to cut the back portion off and fab up a proper cage suited for the bed sides.
