Thanks, I wasn't really being serious about deleting it either (Well maybe :p) I'd like to do KoH, maybe not the actual race portion of it, but some of the trails they have open after the race would be sweet!

I'll DO IT I SWEAR!!

Hey give me some of that

I want to see it look like a Tacoma again, you ought to switch to the 01-04 front end like all the cool kids :D then do a simple internal cage and tube bed

I agree but his just looks bad. Really bad. Fabricator had no clue how to build a cage, let alone an asthetically pleasing yet functional exo.

I should, the 01-04 does look much better. But it would mean more money for something that isn't really needed.

 WHERE IS MY WEAKNESS NOW!!

I have bashed it tons of times, it's just ugly. I hate looking at it. Why even bother doing the sport if you don't at least enjoy looking at your truck?

After reading through so much of this build, I'd really hope you don't delete it.

and as far as the exo cage goes, keep the shit that's in tight, the cage for the bed looks like it was a 4runner that had an internal cage at one point lol. Just my .02.

But seriously. Badass truck, and you need to do KoH.

I haven't 100% made my decision on the cage yet. I still hate it. I want my truck to look like a truck.

The truck cannot handle KoH by any means. There is many things with the truck that aren't up to par, it happens when you literally beat the living fuck out of it every time, and that's all it's used for. Front and arguably the rear axle housing's are bent lol.

It's in such a modified class that I would be running with the $200k+ rigs. Unless I just went to some of the trails after the race is over, that is all I could do. Some day perhaps, but not now.

    Thanks

Ah, well 12 more isn't gonna break the bank is it? If you get the '01-'04 with the holes for flares they're $36 for both L and R.

It's like $22 per 10ft of A53A 1.66"OD x .140"wall at the local Home Depot which is what I used for my front bumper. The more I read up on it on Pirate, the more convinced I am that it's perfectly fine to use. Pretty sure that's what NwiTACO used too. If you don't trust it for the cage around the cab itself, hold what you got or build the main hoop/pillar structure out of DOM or something and anything in between use the A53A or A500

    Yep... OH well

That bender is nice. I've used one like it before, they are slick. Building a new cage would take more than a weekend though lol

How long are you gonna be able to "part" with the bender? I would love to use it to build a new front bumper post-SAS, I like how clean yours came out...

I seriously doubt that I'd need it before fall. I only have 1 die set (1.66"OD) though. But yeah, I'll bring it down and you guys can have at it.
