Did you read what I said earlier? Even if you cut the pipe at the bottom to make it strait, the bolt holes are still at an angle...

Sorry my class need a little more attention than I was expecting, but I've been building a few mounts lately for other projects around the truck and this might be your silver bullet.
It's 16 gauge steel sheet. Cuts easy enough with a grinding wheel or jig saw with a metal blade and if you have a vice or strong clamps you can bend it with a mallet or brute force. Same thickness of of steel used on joist hangers for construction.

Here's the mount I made for my compressor out of the same material.

So you think I'll be able to bend it with my strength and a mallet. But it will be fine to support the weight that it will take?

Yes, with some brute strength you can definitely bend it, and because your essentially creating a C channel it's quite strong. remember the weight is going to be distributed along all three bolted positions but from a top down strength is still going to be able to bear pretty much what ever you can dish out.

Hmmm. I like the idea. But I don't know if I'll be able to bend it precise enough. And it's only bolting into the front and rear holes. The middle is no dice
