That's either a long shower... or a long truck wash...

Sorry guys. I went out hunting for something to make the fairing out of.
    Rough draft of fairing mounts
    Need fairing
Need side panels to cover up ugliness.
All in all, I'm happy with it. I put in about $160. But I also waisted about $30 of that on a fairing build that didn't work out well. It's extremely solid, doesn't wobble or anything. I can shake the truck around by the rack. Honestly, it was a pain the butt cheeks to get the "U" bracket holes lined up with the rack. I ended up mounting it all, drilling through the "U" bracket holes, through the rack. But it's all good now. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a rack.

It looks really tall in the pictures, but it's not that bad. Plus it will look better once I get a fairing and some side panels on there.

Also forgot to mention I plan on cutting the extra length on the U brackets to sit flush with the rack.

Looks awesome Patch! When you get the fairing on don't forget to take some more pics and I'll add it to the 1st page gallery.

Just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU, To @DrFunker and @vuTron for helping me out in reorganizing the first page of the thread. About a month or so ago, I took post #5 and started a photo gallery of all the members projects who have posted finished photos in the thread so far. I wasn't sure people were getting that far after my first post since it was so long. These two were nice enough to delete their posts that sat in between which now puts the gallery right after the Intro post which also needs to be dealt with as well . Thanks again Guys!!!:bowdown::cheers:

Got the fairing mocked on. Still need to paint and trim the corners to run flush with the side panels.
Side panel cardboard template looks good :)
Time to trace it and cut!

Sorry for the slow response. I used some thin steel sheet I had laying around. Good work on yours - it looks great.

The fairing and side panels look great, what materials are you making them out of?

Fairing is out of plexiglass. The side panels are still undecided. Can't find material long enough and cheap enough to suit my needs. Lol.

Fairing mounted. Still need to find material for side panels. Then cut to fit.
@ERMB you wanna update my section in gallery with this pic of the fairing mounted? Thanks!

Great thread. I've been looking on doing this after reading all the pages. Where exactly did you get the bottom conduit at the bottom to mount to the truck. I think this style would be easier and like how it bolts.
