not sure where he got the bottom part, but are you mounting it to the cab? or to a bed cap?

So the piece attached to the truck cap is a Rhino Rack track system. The bottom u-shaped piece is just a small 6in section of the larger 1 3/4in square uni-strut. I found that in the same area of Home Depot in the same area as all the rest of the unistrut materials

Mounting it to the cab like a regular roof rack. Trying to see what my easiest option to mount it with.

Yeah the Rhino Rack track system is what I was meaning. I like how you can track it forward and back with a T nut. Did you just have it laying around or buy it? I don't have any parts or stock that came for the roof, so i'll be buying everything.

Well it was the purchase of those that lead me to this project in the first place because I didn't want to pay for the feet and the crossbars from the system, so I started looking for alternatives which is were I developed this one. In hindsight, I wish I had just used the struts upside down so that the system work seamlessly without having to use other types of hardware. would have made things soooo much easier.

That's going to look great. Having the side panels curved with the too line really makes it look refined. Can't wait to see it.

If I would have thought about it, I could have traced my prinsu cab rack and mailed it to you or something.

For the side panels? It has to be 4.5" wide to dip down far enough in the front to mate with the fairing.

Yep, it's probably better any way. I don't wanna take anything away from Zach that makes the prinsu racks. Looking forward to the final product!
