Sweet! Nice ride!!! Well, lately I've been pouring money just into fixing it up to be reliable and road worthy. I actually just got a new radiator installed today the original had finally called it quits.
Mine came with flares and I'm not really a fan of the fitment of them so I removed them only to find that the edges had rubbed significant wear marks in the painting so I'm attempting to correct that myself.

I think I have enough saved for a lift but deciding between 1.5 and 2.5 is harder than it seems,
    How about you?

Removed the faded gold pinstripes. One was a vinyl sticker the other was painted on.

Have been working on trying to remove the wear marks left by the flares so I've been compounding every so often which makes for mild improvemntim each time. The area where it's worn down to the primer I will try to fill in with color matched paint. Should be an interesting process, I'll have to watch a lot of youtube videos to learn more on how to do it.

Removed the old faded woodgrain and replaced it with a black cherry woodgrain kit from eBay. I think it came out pretty good.

Noticed last weekend that there were bigger drips under the truck that were larger than the valve cover drips I've been seeing. Come to find out that it had developed hairline cracks in the 16 year old radiator.

Currently at stock ride height and running my 295/75/16 Toyo AT2 Extremes from my taco, which amazingly fit fine with no rubbing.

Lift is my next step and will likely be either a OME 1.5 or 2.5 lift. I can get away with doing the 1.5 Without UCA's. I just can't decide which way I want to go knowing I don't go off road every weekend.

I literally change my mind every day. The only other big mod I have planned is to get a HC rear bumper with swing out. So my reason for going with 2.5 would only be aesthetic

    1.5

There's a few other options out there that I like better but dissent off-road, and 4x4labs have some pretty cool ones, but I might have the guy that lives nearby do a winch plate similar to the US off-road ones without going with a whole bumper...that's much further down the road.

this ARB looks good. But @ERMB does he have a 1.5? I cant tell. And after you add the weight, it will really be a 0.5. So a 2.5 would definitely be worth it.

These are the options I'm weighing when the time comes.

    Kavik Aluminum

    4x4 Labs

I'm a little partial to the Kavik and would probably color match it like I did with the Brute Force on the taco. I'm not too fond of the ARB because of how far they stick out. To me it's just too much.

Both of those guys have the1.5 I believe, and both are running 34's although the top one is considered a 35 even though they are actually 34.6.
