Luckily the previous owner gutted the AHC and replaced it with the OME 2.5" lift. I think my next step is a roof rack with a fly rod holder. The tires are in great condition so I am just going to run them till they need replaced.

1st round of touch up paint went pretty well. Got rid of most of the glaring chips that showed down to the primer. If you look closely you can still see the marks on the trim, where they were. I dont have the trim color currently. I'll do those later. I'll end up putting a few more coats on top of the same areas IIdid today then I'll cover those same areas with clear and try and compound the crap out of them to see if I can hide it as much as possible. That's the plan at least.

Nope, stock UCA's. I'm 95% sure that is the 2.5" lift. It sits pretty high. I'll look tomorrow.

So I placed my order yesterday for a lift from Trail Tailor. I ended up going with the tough dog 2in tourflex kit with dualrate springs, and 41mm foam cell shocks, and Diff drop.
Supposedly it's got a pretty damn nice ride compared to the OME so I'm excited to get this done!

Should look just like this after I get it installed....:goingcrazy:!!!! Same exact lift specs and same size wheels and tires, just not the SCS wheels, although those would look pretty sweet!

I read nothing but good things about this set-up, so I'm pretty pumped about it. Next up will be Sliders at some point this summer, and if I can swing it  maybe in the fall A rear HC swingout...although that might get pushed off depending on how my finances shake out.

Nice! The OME rides pretty "rough" compared to what I would have expected from it stock. Does great off road though.

I love the F5's! I have been looking st wheels and always come back to the F5's. They look great on my reg cab.

Yeah, currently mine rides like a Caddy, but it also still has the original 16yr old shocks in it as well so its to be expected. I was told these TD's will ride more stiff in the beginning with much less body roll but absorbs bumps/terrain very well. I also love the F-5's, but would love to see the Stealths in a 17" made for the Hundy, those are my absolute favorite wheels. I should be set with my current wheels for some time, the 16" look a little dated but they are very functional and I think that's all I will need for awhile, although they could use some touchup on the paint.

Well I started to work on the new leather for the front seats last night that I purchased from LSeat. After a really long evening I eventually finished with one seat at around 1:30am. There is definitely a learning curve to this process. I'm about 95% done. I broke a tab on the back cover so I'll need to fix that and for some reason I can't get the recliner motor to work. But to be honest I'm not sure if it worked before I took it out either. As I disassemble the drivers side I'll have to check to see which connection goes to that switch and go back and recheck the passenger side again.
    Here's the results....

    Before

Might rent a steamer to take out the wrinkles or just let the sun do it. Still have the center console and the headrest and the other seat to do but that's enough for now.

...and here's one from during so you can see the pain in the ass it was!
