Not gunna lie, there have been a few threads here lately where I have typed up a response, then deleted it, then went outside to do something more productive lol !

 

This is a really good point. I've been using forums since forums started (but trust me I'm only 27) and that's how they've all been. I've never used a report button or actually offended someone on a forum ever. But somehow on tw I managed to get on the most wanted list.

 

I've done this so many times in the 3rd gen forum!

Yep.

I tried not to. That's one thing I always hated about enigmas truck. Fenders and stock bedsides. The width difference bugged me. I'm sure I'll hate the bedsides though. My truck isn't quite wide enough for them. But we'll see.

There's a chance they might not clear full stuff.

And getting gas is a pain in the ass now.

Annnnd if I do front 6" I'll need to do bedsides to match. The 4.5" works okay with stock I guess.

That's how I justified it.

 

Haha well if you don't like the fronts and upgrade them keep me in mind lol I just did something today also and got gears...

 

Well my roadrunner ones will be for sale no matter what in two weeks.

I need to get my gears installed. Badly.

 

Lol yeah I caved in. I decided I need a reputable shop do them here before I leave to Montana and not know anything up there. I should have them installed next week

 

Are the roadrunners not wide enough for you cuz you have a +3.5" kit? I think they'll work perfect for my +2"

 

Yep. That's why I got them. Back before I was going to long travel. Hoping they work with stock width.

Then I wasted money on a 3.5 kit.

I get a lot of thumbs up and comments now though. haha

what was install like? removal of stock fenders?

im going +2 LT on my taco so i needed the fiberglass and mcneil and fiberworx wanted my truck for 2 months

 

Wait a second. I didn't know you had a +2 kit. I guess I should pay attention more. When did you do that?

 

Removal is easy enough.

Fit. All I can say here is they aren't oem. So don't expect them to fit oem. They look really good from a distance. I get compliments all the time. Since I installed them though I can see a lot of the issues. I've gotten used to it and don't notice anymore.

Installing is pretty easy though. Just drill (fit first don't just drill out the dimples. A lot of my holes weren't on their marked holes. I had to remove both front lower mounts from mine. Other than that they fit fine. Make sure your doors can open and close before you drill and bolt down. They end up being pretty close.

 

I installed them over Easter weekend and it was a biatch lol.Pm'ing you about fenders!
