^You know you are already giving up some fuel milage by selecting the 6-speed instead of the 5-speed auto, right? :p

Yes way, I absolutely was. It's not city traffic but I'm not on a highway. Back roads and stops along the way. That included all my droving even some around town. I never really took it on a long trip to see what I get on the highway. But it's dropped considerably since lift and wheels.

I got 20 religiously when my taco was bone stock. Lift, tires, gears and armor now I get anywhere from 11-14 (without calculating for larger tires), I am calling bs on the 6" lift, 35s that gets 21 MPGs though.

    2006 DCSB 4X4 Auto with armor, 33" 3" lift = ~17 mpg mainly highway.

When it was bone stock, I was getting 19-20 mpg.

4x4 Reg Cab 5 speed with 3 inch lift and 33's on stock gears getting 19mpg average. I drive a good bit of highway and don't bother pushing my little 4 banger for speed.

Noticed wind makes a huge difference now, windy weeks get more like 16-17mpg. Not sure if it would be as noticeable with the v6 or with new gears.
