Hello I need some clarification on something. I purchased an etune 3.0 8 inch screen. Is it bluetooth and the carplay needs to be wired in order to work? I have a 2016 sr5. I thought it would be wireless because it’s bluetooth no?

Wired (USB) for CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless adapters do exist that plug into USB jack, though.

Make sure you have a good quality cable — crappy cables = funky CarPlay/Android Auto problems.

I think the CarLinKit is what people are using. I’m plenty happy with just plugging in the cable (the Qi charge of isn’t strong enough to charge the phone in a reasonable amount of time, even if the surface was grippy enough to keep the phone from moving around).
