eTUNE app...what's the point

I've had my Tacoma about a month, searched around the forums and watched quiet a few tube videos but I still can't seem to understand what the point of the eTune app is?

I entered a couple addresses in the app but it has never sync'd up with my navigation.

I'm at the point where I might just delete it. The app suite is so limiting that I would never use most of the 5 apps available. What am I missing?

 

When Pandora was part of it, it was useful. Now it's pointless.

 

I think its been mentioned here before. But I wonder if we can somehow get some type of compensation back from Toyota. They marketed Entune as this great added feature of the truck. Granted if they supported it, would have been what it is. The fact that all these apps are being removed from the suite makes the whole entune thing useless.

 

Glad I missed out on this "feature".
