I havent even looked into what the raffles are. I feel you about the patches and what not. Back in April I had no patches then some free ones from Jambo and Overland Expo. Recently I keep seeing ones I want to add to the collection I didnt even plan on starting.

    Forgot you don't have facebook.

Here is what is in the bucket raffles that you can buy tickets at $1 a ticket for.

The general raffle you cannot buy tickets for and the ticket you get in your packet is used for it. Which I like as it allows everyone a better chance at winning something.

Just be glad you are not in the Toyota Patch Club group on FB... cause that is a money sucker right there.

I've had a few people try to get me into the patch stuff but thankfully I've been able to beg off as I see them about the same as stickers. Neat, but not for me.

I was collecting them before I even had the truck, one of those things that I could collect from different companies and places I had been as they were usually pretty neat and lasted longer than a sticker or something.

Now I just buy ones that I think are cool and different or from places I go and events.

Its probably a good thing you didnt get into it. I told myself I would only collect free ones. That didnt work. I dont collect stickers but I do take free ones for some reason. Currently have a drawer pilling up with them. I'm gonna throw them all on a cooler in the next couple days since about everyone in our local TW group has the same one.

Patches are def better than stickers. I cant buy stickers because once you use it your done. At least patches can be moved to a different place anytime and is still good.

I'm already following it. There are few items I wouldnt mind winning in the charity event. Like you the OEM Audio would save me $$$ from building a system of my own. The M-15 could be my first rifle but I would probably never use it. The Shadowing awning would be cool but I dont have a full height rack to attach it to. I'll end up buying some tickets for charity with the expectations of never winning. Its ok though because its for charity so I wont feel bad losing.

I have never played the lottery and never will honestly.

I like games that have better odds.

Carpooled with a guy I worked with that bought them faithfully, never won more than five bucks or a free ticket. Always told me that I'd regret never buying one and breaking his balls about how much money he wastes on them. On a whim one day I bought a ticket and won ten grand. Dude lost his shit and I never bought another ticket.

Lottery is the poor mans tax.

It is exactly a poor mans tax. Yes, it would be awesome to win, like holy shit 500 million... but at the same time... you have to have a level head on you to be able to handle getting essentially 500 million overnight.

I will always refer to a reddit post about if you were to win the lottery, it breaks down everything you should do with the very first thing being.... get a lawyer and don't tell anyone you won.

Since this thread has been a lot of BS anyways since me and doing mods and taking pictures and such just sucks...

Going to throw this into the mix, have been watching what I eat and going to the gym at work a lot more. Started on the 5x5 Stronglift this past week and even though I am sore like hell... today was a good day on the scale.

Started this process weighing 301lbs... have been at 261-3 the past few weeks, and the past two weeks I have really watched what I ate and tried to do a lot more, then adding in the 5x5 program... was finally able to see the 250s. However, it won't feel like I really got here until i get to 255 or under. But just going to keep at the 5x5 and using myfitnesspal every day and continue to watch what I eat and put in my body...

The Appalachian Toyota Roundup may hurt me a little bit, but am going to try and get some exercise in while I am there at least.

Keep it up man! You'll get there and it shouldn't be hard to be active at ATR to help if you arent being strict on your diet for a few days. May still set you back a little but you'll bounce back after the trip. I can let you take my pup for lots of walks to help you get exercise. If you wear him out you can carry his 20+lb ass back to camp. In all seriousness though I will probably be walking him every night if he seems to have a lot of energy. I dont walk that fast but will go for as long as he needs which might be a mile for now. His endurance is building really fast so its hard to say how long he will want to walk for.

If I feel like it and if I can get up early enough, going to attempt to go for a morning run.

I am still tempted to bring my bike just so I can ride it in the morning or something around camp to get some exercise...

    Welcome!

Still waiting on that shipping notification from Dynatrac from mine. Not even sure how many weeks it has been honestly since I placed the order.

All I remember reading was you were expecting it by the middle of August haha but yeah I was really close to putting that axle under the back. Had a quote and talked all the details out with Northridge 4x4 and everything.
