That's why I head for higher elevations during the summer. It gets below freezing at night at 11000+ feet in July and August. The older I get the more I can't stand these miserable Texas summers, so I have to R-U-N-N-O-F-T (I'll buy a beer for anyone that knows that reference)

I'm doing North Core Banks (lots of camping, not much wheeling) in 3 weeks or so. 5 days, 4 nights, no power, no water, no nuthin unless we bring it...

 

And I'm still pushing for half a yard.

 

Thanks! Yea, I hope it comes together as well, would be nice to have for Roundup and Moab and not have to worry about my rear end getting destroyed.

 

And if it does not work out... then I guess I may have a 1ton rear end sitting at my house waiting to get used someday.

Awesome! I have been debating mounting my fridge in the cab or back in the bed

 

I wanted it in the cab since that seat is never used by anyone, wanted a passenger to be able to reach into it while on the road, and helps to keep it cooler since I have really dark tint on the rear windows.

The passenger thing was pretty damn nice out at the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree... I could be on the trails and had my passenger grab me a ice cold beverage from it.

I have not. With prior experiences with some of the cheaper bars... I end up not liking them and selling them and getting something better.

Going to see what happens with this Axle thing and then go from there before I purchase anything else for a while.

 

Rode 1.5 miles to work... found out I did not need to come in, so rode back home, got water and then went and rode about 12 miles more. Not a bad road ride around my town... going to shoot for 20 miles by the end of the week hopefully.

Wish I had a road bike instead of the mountain bike to ride on the road...

 

It's been almost a day and a half of no BSing, so this is what you're gonna get...

I've been working on upping my water intake game. Bigly. Now I have to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes, and the bathroom is on the other side of the building from my office, so a walking I go. Then, by the time I get back to my office, I gotta pee again. Anyone know if this is my new life, or if I'll get better at holding it for longer?

 

lmao that's a piss poor way to spend your day, but I know the struggle. In my experience the urges kinda space out after a while.
