I do have a light bar. It is mounted on the closest cross bar which is set a little behind defector, maybe 4 inches. I have also completely taped over my light bar or moved it down out of the wind to see if it was that and it made no difference at the time.

I had edited my post but you got in before I was able to do so. I have taped over my light bar completely and also moved it down out of the way and it didn't affect the sound at the time. I'll have to try playing with that again.

    enough to have fun
when I had my fairing like that, the fairing vibrated my overhead console really bad at highway speeds, and the only thing that helps was reducing the gap between the bottom of the fairing and the roof.

I also tightened everything, and checked that my rack was square. hope this helps!

the fairing noise wasn't bad on my rack when I first installed it... you could tell it was there, but it wasn't howling at me with the fairing and weatherstripping all the way down. Once I put the plano cases up top it started getting noisy. Oddly enough, adding the awning (that sticks out past my a-pillar a little bit) helped make things quieter. Whenever I remove the awning it gets loud again. I'm really hoping all the sound deadening I did up there pays off. It's hard to tell right now with my interior still tore apart and the rear wall and doors not yet finished.

I have a trip this weekend that will involve some highway driving so will see how it does, I have some stuff on the way from 80/20 that may help out, so if putting the fairing at this location does not help, will put it back down to where it was.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EZVOZYC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Oh you are so funny... hahaha.

Sounds good. Will be doing mine hopefully next weekend!

Yea, the rack is pretty square. If I had a way to make the fairing taller, it would not be that bad of an issue, but will see if this works

Will just have to see what happens after moving it to this location and having the gap underneath it.

I have the rubber strip from Zach, but they said to leave it off in this configuration.

The stuff I bought goes in the channels of the crossbars to cover them up, couple people suggested it so will see if it helps at all.

Pretty sure body mounts bushings need to get replaced soon...

Starting to hear a noise up front when going over certain bumps, thought it was the D Rings on the bumper rattling, but took those off and noise is still there. Checked most of everything else and it looks good, but after some research on here, think it is going to be the body mounts.

Also... the 80/20 2820 black covers came in last night... not sure what I was expecting but they are pretty thin but fit the Prinsu cross bars really well, have to be cut down so should have enough extra to fill another crossbar.

Will be doing that this weekend to cover the slots on the cross bar that holds the wind fairing on plus some on the bottom crossbars depending on how much I have.

That plus doing the sound deadening this weekend should help to reduce wind noise from the rack.

Will get pictures today of the one that I did get install last night when I got home.

I'd like to know how much that help.

I'm pretty sure having a double row bar is a large source of my wind noise, but I'd like to see if the slot covers make a difference.

I wish I had a good Decibel meter and I could actually have some tests, but only bad thing is that I will have the slot covers and the sound deadening at the same time so it will be a combo of both.

The slot covers will be put on the crossbar that the wind fairing attaches to and on the first crossbar at least. Thinking that putting them on the wind fairing crossbar that it would help with the wind noise that could be generated by it.
